QuadReal 9th Floor
In 2017, QuadReal selected Govan Brown to complete the office fit-out and expansion of their 9th floor space at 666 Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver. QuadReal, an emerging global real estate company, owns the building and acquired the floor to build their Vancouver headquarters. The 17,500sf, full-floor-plate area was the first phase of a larger project that will see QuadReal expanding into adjacent floors. As such, in addition to completing the floor’s fit-out, we constructed an internal staircase to their existing lower office and prepped the infrastructure and associated slab for their future office above. The space is a combination of open and closed office space complete with ITAL interior office fronts.
Before we began building on the floor, we completed total demolition to bring the entire space back to base. Amenities include a kitchen and lounge area known as the “White Rock Lounge.” AV features are present throughout and high-tech capabilities of the various areas make it a ground-breaking achievement. We completed this project on time and under budget.
