UNIQLO Opens its Doors in Vancouver
Uniqlo launched its first store in Vancouver’s Metrotown on Friday, October 6 and Govan Brown was in attendance to help reveal what we’ve spent the last year building. The highly anticipated store opened its doors to reveal a 20,000 square foot clothing haven spread over two floors. Uniqlo has slowly migrated into major Canadian cities having opened up three so far. In addition to the Burnaby location, two additional one’s have opened in Toronto – the Toronto Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Shopping Centre. With its simple take on their brand, Uniqlo has grown exponentially since 1984, with over 1300 stores located in 15 countries. Uniqlo – comes from the words ‘unique’ and ‘clothing.’ To view the press release, click here.Go to http://urbanyvr.com/uniqlo-metrotown-vancouver-store
