Our Federal Services division has been established as a direct response to the Government of Canada’s call to action to modernize procurement practices and unlock value in new and existing national assets. Dedicated to challenging conventions, Govan Brown is committed to delivering economic and efficient solutions to Canadians that also support broader government objectives such as green building and social procurement.
With a depth of experience working on projects ranging from reinvigorating existing assets to constructing new developments, Govan Brown’s Federal Services division brings a broad array of industry expertise to ensure that Canada’s needs today and tomorrow are met. Our project team brings a diverse set of perspectives to ensure that our projects are constructed through an intersectional lens that promotes equity and inclusion.
The advantage we have in our national bench strength is the ability to leverage and bolster our local teams with the specific knowledge, expertise, and experience required to ensure we are building according to the unique typology of the project. Our teams are comprised of engineers, architects, cost estimators, project managers, schedulers, project management assistants, site supervisors, and health and safety professionals. Their dedication to their respective fields is reflected not only through their portfolios but also through their industry certifications which include WELL, LEED, PMP, CM Lean, Gold Seal, along with others.
We understand the nuanced approach necessary to deliver projects of national significance as well as how to add value with respect to the investment being made by Canada and its citizens. Our objective is to enhance the sustainability of Canada’s current real property portfolio, support in the development and delivery of workplace solutions, and share insights in order to revitalize antiquated procurement processes to ensure a higher degree of accountability. We believe that success should be measured holistically when it comes to project delivery and is comprised of not only traditional markers such as budget and schedule but also overall performance.
