In 2017, Govan Brown was retained by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment to complete a full renovation of the Toronto Raptors locker room and amenities located in the Air Canada Centre. The project, which took place over a 45 day period, consisted of completely demolishing the former space and building a state-of-the-art facility in its place. After a month of pre-construction activities, our team began construction on July 1st by removing a dividing wall and all associated finishes in the locker room, team lounge, and video room.

The interior fit-up for Swissport at the Ottawa Airport (YOW) is setting the standard for modern third-party airport lounges. A beautifully designed space where travelers can either conduct meetings in the new business centre—complete with electrified film for privacy—enjoy a food and beverage, or simply relax in the quiet zone, this lounge has something for everyone. With a Canadian theme in mind, the team made an effort to use locally sourced wood, including reclaimed beams from the region to provide a high-level of finish for people to enjoy. High-end finishes, a kitchen, and a servery with integrated AV and FID display, allow for the public to meet or relax before heading to their next destination.
