Govan Brown was contracted by Larco to conduct pre-construction services for the latest projects occurring in Hotel Vancouver. This phase of work included providing preliminary budgets and schedules for two projects –“Hotel Vancouver Discovery Level Conference Centre TI” and “Hotel Vancouver Level 16-19 Corporate Office TI and Mechanical Upgrade.
This project was the first phase of an 8-year rebranding of the Air Canada Centre into Scotiabank Arena which officially turned over from the ACC to Scotiabank Arena on July 1, 2018. Operation and occupancy of the centre has continued throughout construction.
In 2017, Govan Brown was retained by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment to complete a full renovation of the Toronto Raptors locker room and amenities located in the Air Canada Centre. The project, which took place over a 45 day period, consisted of completely demolishing the former space and building a state-of-the-art facility in its place.
The interior fit-up for Swissport at the Ottawa Airport (YOW) is setting the standard for modern third-party airport lounges.
