Scotiabank Arena
This project was the first phase of an 8-year rebranding of the Air Canada Centre into Scotiabank Arena which officially turned over from the ACC to Scotiabank Arena on July 1, 2018. Operation and occupancy of the centre has continued throughout construction. The scope of work for Phase I included the following: Interior demolition and extensive renovation to the existing Air Canada Club into the Scotiabank Lounge, including customs Loges which offer premium seating and a dining experience for Scotia Lounge members; extensive renovation of both the north and south Level 100 mezzanines, inclusive of custom bars and washrooms; extensive renovation of Gate 2 interior entrance as well as adjacent common areas such as the Platinum Lobby; associated mechanical, electrical and life safety revisions; exterior cladding rework at Gate 2 entrance including the removal of existing canopy structure; introduction of new aluminum curtain wall system and entrances, and signage and wayfinding upgrades for the interior/exterior of the space.
