Govan Brown and Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions Raise $74,000 for Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwired – April 14, 2015) – On March 11th, 2015, Govan Brown and Brookfield Integrated Solutions jointly hosted their annual charity casino fundraiser at the Hilton Suites Conference Centre in Markham, Ontario. The event is held every year to benefit the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and this year the event raised over $74,000 for the organization. The casino night was attended by over 600 industry representatives who were treated to an evening of gambling, live and silent auctions, live entertainment and prizes. With this latest effort, Govan Brown has amassed almost $500,000 over the last 5 years, through various fundraising initiatives towards breast cancer research.
