Senate of Canada
This interior fit-up project entailed the transformation of two complete floors in a heritage building for the Senate of Canada. The floors house the Senators with long-term and temporary office space during the construction of the West Block on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ontario. The project is LEED Certified and required extensive document management control for credits and credentials. A detailed quality control program was implemented to maintain the consistency of very high-level finishes, including wood doors and frames, paint, drywall and millwork, while strategizing on the security, telecommunication, and electrical requirements for top-level security of the space. As representatives for the property (Allied Properties REIT), we assisted with the management of the project requirements and worked with the operations team for the end client (PSPC and the Senate) to manage timelines and cost.
